Welcome to the official PS4 Project CARS 2 V8 Supercars Series lll (3). This is a 2 series event, 1 for Super2 Series and 1 for V8SC Series. Both Super2 and V8SC tracks, dates and events are held on the same days, so there will be no confusion. Super2 is for drivers to shine without the fast drivers stealing the show! V8SC Series is a open class for everyone to race in or can be optional. For those that have raced in our last 2 V8 Supercars series welcome back, as both series were a success. Lets hope this will go just as smooth as the other 2 and we look forward to seeing new drivers! As some already know we give away prizes in all our series events. For this series prizes are handed out to 1st, 2nd and 3rd overall. We will be giving out a 1st prize to the winner of the 2 Endurance races, which is usually held at Le Mons and Bathurst! As for racing, apart from lag issues, we will hand out penalties for careless driving. All we ask of you is to drive as clean as possible to avoid conflict with other drivers. We know something just can't be helped, but we will watch every replay closely. We have a link to our racing rules below. When we held our GT3 series, pCARS 2 would give out a patch update and throw this out, prepare for changes if that even happens at all. This OP maybe edited from time to time which VIPR will update you on any changes.
We have the racing days and dates sorted out to work around long weekends and fathers day etc. We also have the series set to finish 1 week before the 2018 AFL grand final and the following week will be the 2018 Supercars Bathurst 1000. How we have the race days set out is: The race days and dates are set out to work around family life, hopefully we have the race dates suited for all drivers, meaning drivers will race more rounds than the original set dates. Apart from, as stated above, fathers day, long weekends etc. Please check the dates and if you have something on, please let us know asap so we can all work around your home life. But we must say that, what we have now as in days and dates, we think, is the best we can do at this time. Thanks.
If you are not new to signing up for a series, then it should be simple for you. For those that are new to signing up to race in a new series. It's easy, just post in below your car, PlayStation network name, series you want to race in and the number of the car you will be driving for all this series. Example: Super2 / Fast_4 / Ford FG / #98 or V8SC / Name_4 / Ford FG / #98. If you have not yet got a forum account, it's really easy to register using facebook, twitter etc, or just register. We recommend not using Hotmail, Live or Outlook at this time. You will also need to add VIPR_Jordyn as a friend as the room is private. Or when you sign up to race we will add you to send you a invite.
