Former Linebacker of the Chargers and Bills star Shawne Merriman has joined Vince McMahon and WWE.





Merriman is a former 1st round pick for the chargers back in 2005 where he also won NFL defensive player. He also has been a 3 time pro bowler for 3 seasons in a row.





New broke out when shawne appeared on a youtube channel and show called ''The John Layfield and Michael Cole Show'' where is was aired on ESPN's sports to break the news about his switch.



Rumors and news started to buzz before it was confirmed when current WWE superstar Rey Mysterio Jr and shawne posted a pic together that had the hastag #futurewwesuperstar .





There has been many sports players that has switched to the WWE. Shawne stated as a joke that his wrestling name might be his nickname on the football field '' lights out''

Last Night in the NFL world ex RB for the Tennessee Ttitans Chris Johnson has signed a 2 year 8 million dollar contract with the NY Jets.



Johnson Rushed for 2,000 + yards a few years ago but injuries has slowed him down since. Johnson hopes that he can do alot now with his new team.



The New York Jets running backs were one of the worst in the NFL last year so they are hoping that Chris will help them as they also added QB Mike Vick in the off season.



Johnson Rushed for at least 1000 yards in his 1st 6 years in the NFL and hopes he can do it again. Chris Turns 29 at the start of the 2014 season.

Yes, but those teams the Rams have beat have had an off season. The Rams couldn't beat the Chargers, Cardinals or Chiefs and all those teams are having a killer season.

The way my team started the season, I'm just glad they got their act together quickly. Hopefully they can destroy those nasty Packers.
